He wrote the score to the recent film "100 MPG," made by Mark Medoff and colleagues at the new Creative Media Institute on the NMSU campus. Raines' compositions have also been performed in several concerts this year, including his premiere of The Raven, inspired by the famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe.
