The world-renowned
St. Petersburg String Quartet visited Las Cruces on June 12, 2007, and all four members stopped by the KRWG-FM studios during Leora Zeitlin's "Intermezzo." Violinist

Leonid Shukayev provide background information on the history of the quartet and the music we listened to during their visit; violist
Boris Vayner and second violinist Alla Krolevich also add their perspective about their work with the ensemble.
