Trumpet soloist and teacher
John Holt stopped by the studios of KRWG-FM in February, 2006, while visiting Las Cruces to perform with the
NMSU Symphonic Winds. Intermezzo host Leora Zeitlin talks with him and with NMSU Trumpet professor
Pancho Romero about several works, including
Eric Ewazen's Trumpet Sonata, one of Mr. Holt's favorite pieces. Mr. Ewazen came to Las Cruces that weekend to hear Mr. Holt perform one of his new compositions.
