FourmatasFour talented singers at New Mexico State recently got together and formed the “Fourmatas,” a barbershop-style quartet that has performed in Las Cruces and El Paso, and will perform at the holiday concerts of the NMSU Choirs on Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9. Stephen Danner, Jayson Eng, Jonathan Gallegos and Daniel Molloy join Intermezzo host Leora Zeitlin to talk about how they got started and why they love singing together, and they even crowd around the mike and sing one of their songs live in our studios. All selections feature the “Fourmatas” either live or from a private recording:
  1. “Wandering Stranger”
  2. “Carol of the Bells”
  3. “In the Still of the Night”
  4. “If I had All the World and its Gold”

Interview recorded and aired live from the KRWG-FM studios on December 7, 2006.
